February is officially “Heart” month and time for our annual Hope for Hearts Yogathon in support of the SickKids Exercise Medicine Program.
The annual Yogathon is one of Hope for Hearts signature events and will feature special guest yoga instructors leading us through two hours of yoga practice (see detailed schedule below). There will be raffle prizes, gifts, photos and fun!
Come join us in an amazing practice and know that you are supporting patients like Arezo Farah.
“I think it is important to support Heart Research because children like me who are born with heart disease deserve to play, participate in physical activities, and lead a normal life just like other kids of our age.” -Arezo Farah

Gut health and Brain health are very closely connected. We will be discussing the effects of stress on the body and how it relates to our digestion. We will discuss the key healing nutrients in digestive tract; identify what causes inflammation; and learn how to stabilize blood sugar levels. Cleaning up the diet, Cleaning up the gut allows for optimal performance and an increase in energy levels to support the Yoga Practice.
